| 2nd December 2008 "Rose Symphony Luncheon party" was held in the French Restaurant, La Baie, at The Ritz- Carlton,Osaka by Shamayim Rose Gellary and Hide Ishida, its theme "Rose Christmas Tree and English Victorian Candlesticks" with rose arrangements, by Atsuko Furukawa. We welcomed as our Special Guest, the wife of the British Consul-General Osaka, Mrs. Isabelle Stuart. |

2nd December 2008 "Rose Symphony Luncheon party" was held in French Restaurant, La Baie, at The Ritz- Carlton, Osaka its theme "Rose Christmas Tree and English Victorian Candlesticks" with rose arrangements by Atsuko . After, we were served a beautiful dessert of pink macaron.
Our Special Guest ,the wife the British Consul-General, Osaka, Mrs. Isabelle Stuart, brought with her photographs of the Royal Couple with red poppies, two of which she illustrated at our Rose Symphony Luncheon party. She made a precious presentation of " TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visiting Japan.
HRH The Prince of Wales addressed a pretty important speech at university in Tokyo for reducing Carbon future against climate change and call for his keynote speech “nothing less than an urgent, full-scale transformation to a low-carbon society ".
The Royal Couple travelled to Kansai and visited Todaiji-Temple and Nara Craft Museum.
Whilst HRH the Duchess of Cornwall visited St. Luke's Hospital in Tokyo, HRH The Prince of Wales went to the Prefecture of Nagano to visit Afan Forest Park accompanied by Princess Takamado
The forest is now home to 483 species of plants and trees and 70 species of birds . The forest is managed by the author and environmental campaigner C.W. Nicol. and The Prince of Wales organizes The Prince's Rainforests Project (PRP), his new charity dedicated to the cause of finding a way to ensure that tropical rainforests are worth more standing than cut down.

Mrs Stuart also explained to us about the "red poppies" that TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall together with people in the U.K. put on their clothes. Poppies are worn as a symbol of rememberance for those who died fighting for their country. The reason poppies are used is because they are the flowers which grew on the battle fields in Flanders after World War 1 ended. The money raised from the sale of poppies through the Royal British Legion is used to assist with the provision of financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants.
We learned a lot of valuable things from her speech and we greatly appreciate her kindness towards us.
Afterwards we spent such a rosy time with all of roses.

For the coming Christmas, starting from midnight in the reception hall of The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka, hotel staff and Mr. Mark Noikomm, General Manager, Atsuko Furukawa by Shamayim Rose gallery and her companies ornamented Rose Christmas tree for Holy Night as one annual event at The Ritz carlton Osaka. This time we adds more 3 pretty Cristmas rose trees in recepition lobby. The total number of decorated preserved-rose are 1,500 pieces.For the Christmas of 2008,we greatly appreicate and glad so many people visit and see them for holy and beautiul Christmas season.
